Project for tasting and storgae area in the “Ida Agnoletti” winery.
Volpago del Montello is located in the Montello environment, a red soil hill of 370 meters which skirts on the north side the Piave river. The Montello environment is composed by woods of mixed vegetation.
The project consists of the realization of two building near the Ida Agnoletti winery, the first is a shed for the necessary equipment to the wine production, the second is an underground storage for the successive warehousing of the wine products. Both the two buildings are contextualized in the environment thanks to an accurate analysis of the used materials.
SHED FOR THE AGRICULTURAL TOOLS
The building area is settled on a soil with a strong agricultural component, for this reason the project for the shed provides for a camouflage of the building structure thanks to a metallic net which permits its full covering with climbing plants. In this way the shed will be completely disguised in the agricultural environment, characterized by the presence of vineyards.
THE UNDERGROUND STORAGE
The project was developed starting from the wide vineyards belonging to the winery’s property and to the bordering soil. We tried to mitigate visually, the building, covering it with a strip of land, which surrounded completely the storage, and inserting it along the hill’s slope.
The project is intended to realize 3 underground storages and an open portico on the south side, in order to repair the tools for the vine making to the weather.
