The small farm of Santa Croce is part of the parcelling plan of a village aimed at being provided with accommodation facilities located on the olive tree and brush hills of the Tuscan maremma, more specifically in Gavorrano (GR). The project envisages the renovation of the farm and the creation of an adjacent outbuilding. The building will be emptied by keeping the exposed stone perimetral walls and the roofing made of chestnut wood and flat cotto tiles. Inside the building, some functional blocks detached from the original structure and composed of the staircase – located in the centre – and of the rooms located on the first floor will be inserted. The typical architectural details characterising the local area are combined with more contemporary elements such as the resin floor and the minimal furniture.
